OUR MATERIALS
B•A-Gs are made out of hand-picked leather skins. They are carefully selected by our teams at the tanneries we work with closely. All leathers are natural. Any possible tonal variations, veins traces or marks are therefore considered as natural and should not be considered as imperfections.
Our materials include:
Calfskin Croco Fur Print (not containing PCP nor aromatic amines and chrome VI)
Calfskin Leopard Soft Skinny Fur Print (fully compatible with DIN EN 15987:2015 regulation)
Calfskin (not containing PCP and fully compliant with German AZO regulation)
Calfskin Croco Print (not containing PCP and fully compliant with German AZO regulation).
Our personalised lining, which is water repellent STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
All of our leathers are traceable:
By traceability, we mean tracking the full history of the material throughout its production chain, from its origin to the monitoring of its transformation, all the way to the finished product.
Traceability combines several issues: that of animal welfare, ensuring that animal breeding and slaughter are conducted under decent conditions, improved quality and a respect for the eco-responsible criteria.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF
YOUR B•A-G:
To have the most of your B•A-G, we recommend to:
Protect them from humid environment and from direct contact with liquids, incl. perfumes, creams and make-up (B•A-G’s inner lining is water repellent, fatty and dissolvent liquids may harm the coatings). In case of contact, use a soft cloth to carefully dab the spilled liquid.
Avoid long-term exposure to bright sunlight or intense heat.
Since our leather is natural is can be affected by rough surfaces. Fur skins exposed to rubbing surfaces might lose some hair over time.
Maintain your bag in the tote provided by B•A-G. Do not place your bag directly in a plastic bag (humidity affects leather adversely).

Close cooperation and communication warrant these principles across our production chain. Combining experienced craftsmanship with new design ideas ensures a unique product. We care about our producers, visit them during the production process. Involvement is essential: understanding each other makes not only a better product, but a better world.
We deliver our handbags in special cotton bags, which can also function as beautiful shoppers and help therewith to reduce plastic waste. We care also about the materials used for packaging.
